Despite being spotted out rocking what appears to be DJ Khaled's engagement ring, Nicki called into Funkmaster Flex's radio show on Hot 97 sharing that Khaled's proposal was another publicity stunt.
“It was just another way for him to kinda give the world a glimpse on the feeling of this record,” Nicki stated referring to the track her and Khaled have together. She then cleared up rumors of them having a romance period adding:
"Khaled is my brother and Khaled was not serious with that damn proposal, ya'll. Please let it go. He was kidding. He's not attracted to me, he doesn't like me. We're brother and sister."
