Tupac's Mother Is Suing For Unpaid Royalties From A Tupac Album

 

According to a report on TMZ, Afeni Shakur has filed a lawsuit against Entertainment One claiming breach of contract for unpaid royalties. Afeni is looking to obtain $1.1 million in the unpaid royalties from the album "Beginnings: The Lost Tapes" which was released in June of 2007. Also in the lawsuit she wants them to give up all of the master recordings of her son's unreleased music.

It has been reported that Entertainment One bought the rights to Tupac's music from Death Row back in July.
